More smoke and mirrors from Acrow ZA proudly announcing its “UK branch” — complete with glossy website pictures and the obligatory crow logo to give the illusion of credibility.

But behind the carefully staged images? The same old chaos. Enquiries get pushed back to South Africa because apparently nobody in the UK office can actually help. And in true bargain-basement fashion, they couldn’t even stretch to renting a proper business centre address to create the slightest impression of professionalism.

Then again, when leadership can’t lead, what exactly are people supposed to expect? After all, the much-talked-about Italian office appears to be nothing more than an empty piece of land.

For a company that loves to present itself as respected and top draw, the cracks are becoming impossible to ignore.

So the question has to be asked… is the house of cards finally starting to fall apart?
